- Performs all duties of general, physical labor such as: shovel, rake, universal housekeeping, erect site visitors control, snow fence or barricade structures and operate website online cleanup as assigned by means of website supervisor.
- This is physical, out of doors work in a doubtlessly dusty / noisy environment.
- Assists tools operators to smooth tracks and fuel/grease heavy gear (dozer, hoe, grader, etc.). Operates plate tampers/jump jacks and hand tools.
- Performs recognizing obligations for gear and vehicles in accordance to education supplied with the aid of GCS.
- Laborers MUST have excellent written and verbal English skills, be capable to hear guidelines and see work activities/hazards.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge and trip in civil works development an asset.
- MUST be in a position to bypass a Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol check and adhere to Drug & Alcohol Policy at some point of employment.
- Has exemplary attendance and a willingness to adapt to job shift changes.
- Able to safely function tools in a safe, environment friendly manner.
- Knowledge of secure operation of simple hand and strength tools.
- Knowledge of place of job protection and secure lifting tactics.
Preference will be given to those with the following VALID SAFETY CERTIFICATES:
- CSTS 2020
- Ground Disturbance Level II or 201 Standard
- H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
